A luxury multi-family property that captures the creativity of the Dallas Arts District

The brand-new Atelier located in the Dallas’ thriving arts district is a multi-family residential property guided by a love of art and luxury. Given the brand’s focus on art, Kevin Barry Art Advisory was a natural fit to work with the interior design team at One Line Design to curate a vibrant art collection to rival any gallery. 

Working on this project was a particularly unique experience for KBAA’s art advisors given the size of the art collection, its diversity of mediums, and the boldness of vision. From public spaces and model rooms, to the residence’s own art gallery, Atelier Dallas boasts over 75 unique works of art created by KBAA artists and our in-house design team. 

Notable works in the Atelier Dallas’ art collection include several original works by artists Stevi Michner, Susan Maddux, Laura Stewart, and Ink and Indigo. Stevi Michner’s work, a set of 7 concrete ribbon sculptures made of naturally sourced California driftwood, creates a stunning first impression in the lobby. Continuing the theme of layers and folds, a folded ombre canvas sculpture by Susan Maddux makes for an eye-catching art moment further along in the lobby. In the first floor art gallery, Laura Stewart’s paint-splattered dimensional wooden sculpture encapsulates the property’s aesthetic: neutral and organic, with pops of color. Ink and Indigo created several original works for the Atelier Dallas, including a white-on-white dimensional plaster and canvas art with subtle folds at the bottom of each ribbon-like piece.
