Spread over 640 acres, the Toscana Country Club boasts world-class luxury amenities, wellness, athletic and leisure activities that truly set it apart. For this project, KBAA curated an art collection that includes many original commissions, including ones inspired by founders of the country club itself.
Taking a cue from the country club’s Tuscan theme, the clubhouse’s art references the color palette of the sun-drenched hills of central Italy. Artist Amy Paul’s work depicts elements of a Mediterrean garden in muted sage and burnt sienna hues. Impressionist landscapes by artist Chris Zambon continue the theme of the rolling hills of Tuscany, while adding depictions of local Indian Wells landscape. Further along, an original custom painting by Carolyn Reynolds adds a soft, botanical feel to the bar lounge area. Sets of panelled artwork by artists Rick Hobbs and Laddie Dill round out the art collection with color-focused abstracts.
The jewel of the Toscana Country Club’s art collection is a commissioned original piece by artist Craig Alan. This artwork is part of his “Populus” series which featured portraits of iconic figures formed out of tiny people seen from a bird’s eye view. Inspired by the designer of the country club’s world-class golf course, Alan’s work features an abstracted portrait of golf great Jack Nicklaus.
