Inspired by the adjacent ocean, Zen Buddhism and the owner’s large family, Kevin Barry Art Advisory worked with Chelsea Sachs Design to curate an art collection for this high-profile client’s beachside residence. Working within a beachy color palette of pale blues, tawny neutrals, grays and buttery caramel browns, KBAA brought in artists whose work would complement the laidback beauty of the overall design, including frequent collaborator Laddie Dill, and original commissions by artists Joe Segal and Michael Slaght. With art specification from the residential art advisors at KBAA, this residence has a stunning art collection that will be a beautiful backdrop for making family memories by the ocean for years to come.
We were instantly drawn to this project because of its emphasis on family. We’re a family business who appreciates great art and interior design, so working on a project for another close-knit family who appreciates great aesthetics was a joy.
