It’s not every day we get to do an art program for a brand new 67-floor, 24.5 acre sprawling luxury resort. We were truly honored to be trusted with leading the holistic art program at such a special property. This full-scope program touches so many spaces and incorporates art from over 100 artists spanning 10 different countries. We’ll walk you through some of our favorite moments, but you’ll have to visit the space to see the work in its entirety.
Our goal with this project was to share the wider perspective of the Fontainebleau brand while offering more detailed storytelling within each space. For example, guests who stay the night are treated with a harmonious blend of Parisian pastel colors and calming abstract paintings. Notable pieces include “Purple Fold” by Jean Alexander Frater and “Solar Mirror” by Nicholas Biddle, which offer a bold yet peaceful experience.
From there, the art moments are seemingly endless! The Conference Center offers a sensory experience with beautiful, gradient colors. The Lapis Spa & Wellness has a range of custom pieces that provide tranquility and texture. One of our favorites is a custom mirror installation we designed that offers a colorful moment above the massage table.
The energy is heightened in the art in spaces like the high limit enclave and the tavern-style sportsbook. Each evokes its own feeling and offers custom installations by artists like Heidi Lanino, Lauren Herzak-Bauman, and collaborations with Fontainebleau Development’s John Rawlins.
Another favorite space worth mentioning is the speakeasy, Nowhere, in which splashes of color and bold artworks add a vibrant and playful touch. There is truly so much more to explore at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas. See our Summer 24 ELEVATE by KBAA to explore even more.
