Explore beauty wherever you are. That’s what our latest issue of ELEVATE by KBAA is all about. We explore what wanderlust means, and inspire you to look locally for art and inspiration. From luxury five-star hotels to healthcare spaces to the walls of a local coffee shop—elegance is everywhere.
Throughout this issue, we highlight two key projects. The first is The Ritz-Carlton, Portland. After a three year art program collaboration, the amazing hotel and residences opened their doors in October 2023. This 35-story luxury space is the first of its kind in the Pacific Northwest. It is housed in a striking 460-foot crystalline tower, designed by local GBD Architects, with interiors by Dallas-based ROAM Interior Design.
“Flora Triptych” by Victoria Barnes paired with “Tiny Pieces” by local Portland store, Canoe Design.
We also share the art program from our recent project, the Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building and Counseling & Learning Center. Located in the vibrant Watts community of Los Angeles, this project centers around the concept of “Interwoven Unity.” We worked with a range of local artists with the intention of creating connected artwork that helped patients to feel welcome and at ease.
“Unity Mobile” by James Farran evokes community connection.
Throughout this latest issue of ELEVATE by KBAA, we hope it not only evokes an explorative spirit and desire to travel, but also helps you connect with your local community. Follow us at @kevinbarryartadvisory on Instagram to let us know what you think!
