Discovering Las Vegas with KBAA

Our art advisory team talks music, art, and favorite places

Art and design can be found in every city, and the neon lights of the Vegas strip is certainly one of them. Known for its eclectic mix of architectural styles, even just walking around Las Vegas is a design experience unlike anywhere else in the world. From sleek modern architecture of brand new builds like our recent collaboration with Fontainebleau Las Vegas, to playful post modern architecture or extravagantly themed buildings, Vegas certainly has a lot to offer. Here are some recommendations from your favorite Art Advisors for your next Vegas trip.

Drive with style.

Hop in your car and turn up the “Roadtrip to Vegas” playlist curated by Kevin Barry Art Advisory. Our team feverishly debated what to include to create the best playlist and ended up with an eclectic mix of pop, rock, disco, and even some country influences. Dive into this mix of nostalgic hits and contemporary tracks and you make your way to the weekend.

“Don’t forget your hiking shoes so you can explore the beauty of Red Rock Canyon just outside of Las Vegas”

– John Barry, Principal

“Best late night eats in Vegas? White Castle. Don’t judge me!”

– Chelsea Herman, Art Advisor

“You have to catch a Cirque du Soleil performance. Their shows are always iconic and leave me with a sense of awe and amazement. From the artistry of the costumes and makeup to the incredible acrobatics, the Cirque experience turns the impossible possible (if only for a few hours).”

– Veronica Volborth, Art Director

“See a show at The Sphere. It’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before”

– Charlotte Leonad, Art Coordinator

“If you want a little history with your Vegas adventure, head to the Atomic Museum.”

– Armando Anguiano, Director of Production & Fulfillment

“I’ve always wanted to take a helicopter ride and explore the city from above. Would be amazing day or night!”

– Kajsa Piatt, Senior Art Advisor

“Add the Neon Museum to your list. It features so many unique signs from old casinos and really showcases the unique feel of Vegas life.”

– Will Terzian, Project Manager

“Well, I live here so my favorite place in Vegas is hanging out at home with my family. But, I’ve been spending a lot of time at Fontainebleau lately. Be sure to head there and explore the KBAA Art Program!”

– John Barry, Principal
