Nicholas Biddle

Nicholas Biddle is a Los Angeles based artist currently working with urethane, lucite, concretes and plastics to create light and color based artwork that exemplifies the coast from which he was born and raised. His goal is to bring a sense of serenity and emotion to the viewer by using familiar natural shapes with enhanced color and juxtaposing them by using synthetic materials.

While attending Pratt Institute he honed his color theory and appreciation for all building materials and worked to create artwork that would enhance the environment of the viewer and assist them to meditate on ideas beyond actuality.

He has been doing client based creative development, for hotels, white label and residential work to special projects including a six-foot lucite pyramid for use in a live hologram performance.
