Siri Gindesgaard

Danish artist Siri Gindesgaard specializes in painting, and most often oils on linen. Nearly all of her work demonstrates a “photographic” physicality that emphasizes a beautiful, deep melancholy and softness.

The portraits are often of young women in a moment of contemplation. Their dynamic position activates a narrative and with that reflection and soul-examination.

Gindesgaard´s work has been displayed in numerous group exhibitions in the United States and in her home country Denmark where she has also had solo exhibitions. Gindesgaar´s artwork can be found in Danish and International private collections.
