The hotel, rooted in San Francisco&#8217;s vibrant past since the 1920s, now stands as a symbol of progress and community on Union Square, inviting both locals and visitors to partake in its rich legacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kevinbarry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/9-23-02_beacon_grand.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10258\" width=\"685\" height=\"463\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kevinbarry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/9-23-02_beacon_grand.jpg 685w, https:\/\/kevinbarry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/9-23-02_beacon_grand-300x203.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 685px) 100vw, 685px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"middle\" style=\"font-size:12px;\"><em>Custom line art drawings of famous SF landmarks.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KBAA had the pleasure of working with the team at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beacongrand.com\/\">The Beacon Grand<\/a> to create an art program to help visitors immerse themselves in their unique heritage. We worked with talented San Francisco artist, Henry Gao, to create a custom series of San Francisco landmarks. These bespoke pieces are framed and placed throughout almost every guest room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"685\" height=\"463\" src=\"https:\/\/kevinbarry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/9-23-04_beacon_grand.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10260\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kevinbarry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/9-23-04_beacon_grand.jpg 685w, https:\/\/kevinbarry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/9-23-04_beacon_grand-300x203.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 685px) 100vw, 685px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"middle\" style=\"font-size:12px;\"><em>The palette of this piece is a perfect accent for the room.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another piece we love is a rendition of a mesmerizing cold wax painting, expertly reproduced from the original work of local artist Kaite Gutierrez. We love the balance of calm and excitement her work provides.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our art program extends beyond the relaxing and regal guest rooms into the expansive hotel.
