The Logan is a stylish, luxury hotel located about a mile from the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Philadelphia is well known for being a city of firsts and a hub of early American innovation, so it was important to keep history a central part of its aesthetic design.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To help accomplish this goal, our art consultants commissioned local artisans to create various elements that smartly captured the distinguished history of the property. In fact, each space reflects the elegance of the hotel\u2019s brand, as well as the importance of this city to American history.<\/p>\n

A \u201cMan of Steel\u201d sculpture, which recalls Philadelphia\u2019s labor and mining industry, greets guests as they enter the hotel lobby. As their gaze shifts upward another sculptural piece featuring famous Philadelphians meets their eye and transports them to another time.<\/p>\n

As they continue toward their guest room, images of Philadelphia-native actress Grace Kelly, make a statement in the hotel\u2019s halls. Once inside, guest suites feature abstract art prints of the First Troop Philadelphia City Cavalry alongside imagery of bold topiaries in vibrant blues and greens that add sophistication and a pop of relaxing color to the guest room suites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google, Sunnyvale CA<\/a><\/h5>\n

 <\/p>\n

Google Tech Corners, located in Sunnyvale, CA, is regarded as Google\u2019s most innovative and sophisticated campus to date. As such, interactive, fun, and meaningful were the central ideas that guided KBAA\u2019s vision.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For this project, our art consultants were given creative direction to work within the Google colors and draw inspiration from the love and knowledge of technology that built the company. What resulted were a number of tech-inspired art pieces designed to inspire and engage both employees and visitors.<\/p>\n

The keystone of this project is a wall covering that pays homage to the company\u2019s origins in Silicon Valley. Google wanted to convey \u201ctechie culture-as-art with a dash of whimsy\u201d and KBAA delivered with large sculptural acrylic pieces\u2014in Google colors, of course\u2014overlaid to look like a map. QR codes scatter across the map so anyone can scan and learn more about Google\u2019s local history on the spot.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Mount Sinai Health Center at Hudson Yards, New York NY<\/a><\/h5>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mount Sinai Health Center is paving the way toward improved customer experiences with their latest concierge primary care facility. Located at the new Hudson Yards, a 28-acre mixed-use high-end development on Manhattan\u2019s West Side, the facility is stunning and feels more country club than clinical, which sparked KBAA\u2019s inspiration.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

From exam rooms to the medical director\u2019s office, the team at Kevin Barry Art Advisory transformed this Mount Sinai location into a bespoke healthcare experience befitting a first-class healthcare system using over 35 pieces of art specifically commissioned for this project.<\/p>\n

The highlights of the collection include several pieces by rising art world star Tracie Cheng, mixed media fabric pieces embellished with gold leafing, and a large statement piece of acrylic on bowed metal entitled \u201cSapphire Dream\u201d that evokes the perspective of looking down at the earth from space.<\/p>\n
